Part of the largest surrender of US forces ever — more than 70,000, he is thrust headfirst into a fight for his life. Awesome. In one word. This novel is based on a true story and written by a Vet. It’s gripping & you can’t help but to feel for the characters that seem to jump off the page. Detailed epic storytelling. A great read.
